Radio Communication

There are 3 parts to a radio communication:

  1. Request
  2. Instruction
  3. Confirmation
Control Airfields you'll have 2 types of Controllers:
  1. Ground Control- Control the taxiways and 
  2. Tower - Control Runways and Airspace

ATIS - Weather and Airport Information
Let Ground Control know you have ATIS with the Unique Identifier (alpha, bravo etc)

The 5 W's
  1. Who you are talking to 
  2. Who you are 
  3. Where you are 
  4. What is your request or intentions
  5. With what information
